Spring 2016 Life on the Farm Camp - Connolly Ranch
The kids need something to do for spring break—and Connolly Ranch has a camp full of activities designed to keep them engaged in the outdoors. During our week, the children will take care of the farm animals including the new spring lambs and baby chicks, get creative with arts and crafts, learn about our honeybees and other pollinators, cook with local ingredients, build natural shelters, learn about seed starting in the greenhouse, get their hands dirty in the garden and of course hike and explore the nature trails in Westwood Hills park. Part of the day, campers will be divided into groups by age and part of the day by interest. In any case, we promise your children will come home tired and inspired! 707-224-1894

Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Kids in the Kitchen Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. Lenape Sess IV Post -Camp (Aug 10 to 14) Post-Camp will be offered at the Plainsboro Recreation & Cultural Center from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Games, activities and movies will be available. Snacks will be provided.
