Final Summer 2016 Kid's Riding Camp - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our last riding camp of the summer for children ages 3 - 18. Camps are half days, and kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen and enclosed outdoor arena. Kid's are outside getting exercise in the sunshine and fresh air, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence. What could be better? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, horseman and natural horsemanship clinician with 35+years experience as a professional horse and people trainer, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equpment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Siblings may share helmets as needed. Summer Camp '15 will be here before we know it. The projected dates are August 3rd - 6th (may be subject to change). Total cost is $275 per student. Early bird pricing is $225 and that is ONLY with a non-refundable $125 deposit in by APRIL 1st. After April all deposits are $100 to reserve your spot with total cost $275. Musical Theatre Intensive 1: Fame Jr. - The Studio Around the Corner
Our Musical Theatre Intensive workshops are fast-paced 5-day programs that are designed to give students intensive experience as a lead or supporting role in a staged musical production. The staged production (Day 4 of the program) consists of acting, singing and dancing with a script and score, costumes, props, lighting & sound. The musical to be performed is FAME the Musical! Set in the 80s and based on the real NYC Performing Arts high school, FAME tells the story of a group of performing arts students and their journey at PA. Ages 10 - 18. 9am - 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday at the Studio Around the Corner, 67 Main Street in Brewster, NY. Horses Horses Horses - Camp Mardela
Campers will have opportunities to learn about horses and equestrian safety, and they will experience riding. Campers will stay at Camp Mardela and travel offsite for riding activities. Activities may vary based on schedules and availability. In addition to Horse Camp activities, there will be time for traditional camp activities. The Coding Champions will strive to understand the fundamentals of coding (such as sequences, conditionals, loops, etc.) so that we can solve challenging puzzles, create animated plays, and maybe even invent a game or app. Every potential coder sits somewhere on his/her path to coding glory. You will learn to build cool electronic projects using Arduino Micro controller board and make your projects interactive by writing simple programmatic logic using Arduino programming environment. Each student will get Arduino kit along with their project to take home on the last day of the camp. ** Arduino is the coolest and most popular DIY electronics kit today for kids, teens and even for adults.
