Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls. I used to go to this camp as a kid and now that I have my own daughter, I sent here to this camp as well. My sister, whom also attending this camp as a kid, pulled her kids out of this camp last year, stating that there was a lot of bullying and picking on kids and no accountability for this type of behavior. Pure Gravity Fitness's Annual Kid's Circus Camp!! For kids ages 6-12. We'll be exploring movement and the many aspects of circus performance. This will include learning tricks on aerial apparatuses, tumbling, balance, hula hoop and juggling, costuming and circus history. This camp is designed for kids to discover movement, foster creativity, and most importantly have FUN!! It is a three-day camp running the last week in June, Monday Wednesday and Friday from 9am to Noon. Cost is $85 for all three days and includes all activities and a snack! Birds are beautiful and expressive animals that we can see and hear daily. Learning bird language opens up a whole new way of understanding our forests and what is happening around us. We will look for birds in the wild and visit the Wildlife Center for an educational program and close-up view of some beautiful raptors and other birds and mammals. Get acquainted with these fine-feathered friends and learn to soar in the outdoors! 505-699-6230

Instructors will guide students to unlock their creative potential. This workshop centers on interdisciplinary arts creation. For example, a cellist might work with a dancer to create an original dance with original music.
