In our Rock Band Boot Camp for teens you start playing together on the very first day and you don't stop. It doesn't matter how much or how little experience you have. You'll learn how to rock out with others. While rocking out with your peers in the rehearsal studio, you'll get better at your instrument and develop your skills—and your swagger. The first two weeks of the CCYC Summer Camp will begin on June 20,2016 and end on July 1, 2016. This year there will be two separate camps with the second two week camp starting on July 18 and conclude on July 29 2016. Applications for the first session must be returned by June 15 to be accepted into the first session. Ages this year will range fron 7 to 12 yars of age. Spark those curious minds and imaginations this summer at the Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe!) cMoe camps offer quality experiences and are led by certified teachers. In addition to the weekly themed activities, campers have daily exploration time in our museum. All full-day camps are available to children entering 1st-7th grade for the 2016-2017 school year. Full-day camps begin at 9am and end at 4pm with the option of extended care for only $25 per week. For cMoe members, camp is $135.00 per week! Non-members are $150.00 per week. Early Bird discount until March 25th! Camp themes include: STEM, Art, Wonderful Wizard World, Mad Science, Sleuth Camp and MORE! cMoe Mini Camps: Just for Preschoolers! Experience camp in a safe, structured, FUN environment facilitated by experienced educators. Get your green on as you explore how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a part of everything around us. This program will give participants an integrated exposure to the various STEM fields and how they can be applied within an environmental context. Explorations will include the chemistry of recycling, creating power from worms, and energy transfer. The week will culminate in an environmental engineering project where students will use these real-world STEM concepts to create their own energy-efficient home. (630)9075950

Volleyball is the ultimate team sport. It is exciting, action packed and one of the fastest growing sports in the Tidewater area. The game requires outstanding hand-eye coordination, skill mastery, quickness, anticipation, teamwork and the motivation to "lay it all on the line." Now is a great time for your child to get started or further develop their game at the NCS volleyball camp. Campers will receive instruction in the six skills of volleyball: serving, passing, digging, setting, attacking and blocking. Campers will learn rotational and perimeter defenses and how and when to use them. Though instruction will be thorough, the atmosphere will be positive and enjoyable for all the campers. From rigorous training for USTA tournament and high school players to a fun learning environment for beginners. Beautiful outdoor and indoor tennis facilities, plus a chance to learn about and play other racquet sports like ping pong, badminton, and squash and swim in the pool at the end of each day. For resident campers, we have a list of fun activities at night including movie nights, Dave and Busters, and World Team Tennis.
