In October we will resume our homeschool series by following the changing seasons and further developing our our naturalist skills. Together well seek to develop an understanding of the unique ecology of this landscape while also deepening our connection to nature, ourselves and each other. This class is held entirely outdoors in wilderness conditions (no bathrooms or permanent structure for shelter) in all but extreme weather conditions. Well stay warm by keeping active, ducking out of the wind, soaking up the sun, and treating ourselves to snacks by occasional small campfires. Proper clothing--especially layers of wool--is essential, as is an adventurous, curious spirit! 978-463-2233

My 12 year old son said he feels at home in this 4-H camp for youth ages 9 to 14. It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. Vocal Ensemble (SPRING) - Greenleaf Performing Arts Academy
Students will prepare a blend of contemporary, sacred, traditional, and popular songs as they gain experience with harmonization, sight-singing, and group performance! Strongly recommended for private voice students who would like to gain choral experience. Pre-requisite: 1 or more years of private voice lessons, co-enrollment in voice lessons, OR instructor approval by audition. Includes a spring showcase performance, exact date TBA. Week 3 PM - Fly Fishing - NESS
Come join NESS to learn about the fantastic sport of fly fishing. Saltwater fly fishing is used to target a variety of species available depending on the season. Striped bass and bluefish are local all summer, with the occasional transient like banded rudder fish and jack crevalle. Learn saltwater specific fly fishing techniques to fish your local waters. Gain experience in casting, tackle and fly selection, rigging, fish fighting and proper release techniques. This activity demands specific methods and large areas of space so enrollment is limited. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. Includes: Fly fishing, boat rides & kayaking 860-535-9362

This camp is designed to introduce the game of basketball to young players. Campers will learn the basic skills of what it takes to become a successful basketball players. Lil Topper Camp is all about teaching the fundamentals of basketball. Techniques taught include ball handling, shooting, and the importance of teamwork.
