The Super Heroes need your help to save the day! Create motorized vehicles using LEGO® components for the heroes to ride. Make the Batmobile, a flying craft for Supergirl, Captain Americas motorcycle, Iron Mans Quinjet, and the perfect ride for Spiderman. Each day, students have a mission to accomplish with the help of the project they build. We provide step-by-step instructions so students can incorporate motors and gears into their creations. Students then customize their projects and proceed on their missions. Students learn about the following mechanisms and systems as they build and play with their projects: •How gears control the speed and torque (power) of vehicles •How pulley systems transfer power to move objects •How you can change the direction of movement with bevel gears •How liftarms can be used to make strong attachments and add cool designs to creations •How to build fast-moving vehicles that stay together in crash tests •How to make Super Hero minifigures leap ten times their length in a single bound (really)! The year of 2016 is slowly, but surely, coming to end, and the new year of 2017 is rolling in. Join us as we remember the Old and celebrate the New on December 30th through January 2nd. Bryte Youth is doing something different by hosting this New Year up in the mountains, in the midst of the beautiful, God given nature. These four days will be spent with fellowship, worship, and a time to reflect about the previous year and pray over the new one. The focus of our topic will be Emmanuel: God is with us. Over the course of four days, you will all have an opportunity to discover where and when God has been with us, and how His guiding hand has led us all along. Of course, these four days will also be action packed with various activities. For those of you who want to relax, no worries. Spend the four days lounging in the cozy cabins, or go on a walk and taking in the beautiful scenery. 10 am sign up at the mark. $20.00 driver $10.00 rider. Ride leaves at noon on a scenic route to the Dowagiac Moose and then back to playland hall on Nickerson Ave. Lunch and dinner supplied. Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. Artplay! Theatre and fine art collide! Join us for a new exploration of art history using the body and voice. Create scenes and mini plays using classic paintings and sculpture as the basis for story-creation, characters, and setting. Though improvisation, cooperation, and movement exploration, students will craft their own masterpieces of theatre inspired by art! Family and friends are invited to a theatre sharing on the last day of class. 202-724-8950

Identify and investigate animals of Yellowstone! Observe and compare predator and prey relationships in a safe and FUN environment. The USF June Residential Training Camp Program for field players offered at the University of South Florida is designed to improve players both on and off the field. The program for ages 9-12 will run separately from the program for ages 13-18. Day training sessions are designed for speed and agility and improving players technique, tactical awareness on both offense and defense. The evenings consist of matches and tournament play.
