Kid Fit Camp- Southeast YMCA - Huntsville, AL
Get your kids away from the TV, computer, and video games. This summer the YMCA wants to help your child discover the FUN OF FITNESS! Class Description Sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, pickle ball and other fun fitness games every day! Strength training activities with a certified personal trainer! Fun lessons on health and nutrition with a registered dietitian! Wednesday field trip to Camp Cha-La-Kee from 9am-5p to participate in traditional fun outdoor activities such as: Canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and having fun on the Blob (picture attached)! Kid's Cooking Camp - Lake Charles, LA
We are so exited to announce our kids cooking camp! This is a three day camp to be held inside the beautiful Majestic Hall at Walnut Grove. The Camp will include: Day 1 Homemade muffins, strawberry, blueberry, bananas, or chocolate chip Making Pizza from scratch Day 2 Southwest Egg Rolls Quesadillas Day 3 Spring Rolls Stir Fried Noodles with Veggies Each Day will include - snack preparation 10-11 - snack time 11-11:30 - actvity break 11:30 - 12:30 - entree preparation 12:30 - 1:30 - eating time 1:30 - 2:00 Camp fee is $225 per child ages 6-12 We are concerned with the safety of the children atteneding our camp. With this in mind we will not be using knives, all cuttting preparation will be done ahead of time. We will have an adult leader to help oversee each of our cooking stations and we are maxing attendance at 10 children to enusre their safety. We specialize in cattering to those with food allergies. Cubs Golf Morning Session - Brigham Young University
This summer your kids can train at East Bay Reserve Golf Course with BYU mens golf head coach Bruce Brockbank and receive instruction in the fundamentals of golf. Participants will receive instruction in short irons, long irons, woods, chipping and putting. Theyll also learn the basic fundamentals of correct grip, posture and alignment. This is your childs opportunity to train with some of the best golfers in the state including Coach Bruce Brockbank, members of his BYU golf team and East Bay Reserve staff. These coaches will spend personal time with each youth, teaching the fundamentals of golf. Additional training will include rules, etiquette, mental attitude, and conditioning. The camp is limited to 45 youth per session, so individual and small-group instruction and feedback are essential elements of the program. Read, Read Reading Camp for Kindergartners & First Graders - Bolles Whitehurst Campus
Beat the summer slide with fun projects, activities, and ideas that spark learning. We will concentrate on all areas of the reading process: reading, writing, speaking and listening each day and focus to enhance each students individual reading abilities. PreK & Kindergarten Program - Election Day at TPS - The Philadelphia School
Join us in a fun and educationally stimulating day learning about elections. Students will design colorful handmade campaign buttons, set up voting stations, play fun election games, and experience creative hands on art activities. Students will prepare a tasty mid-morning snack and participate in choice games, and indoor and outdoor activities. Weather permitting we will enjoy a walk to Taney park for recess. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). **Extended day is available from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20. A late-afternoon snack and choice activities will be provided. Pick-up time is 3:00 p.m. for the regular program and 5:30 p.m. for the extended day.
