Fencing: European Foil - Old Trail School
Campers will learn the ancient art of fencing beginning with the modern version of the court sword. Campers will learn basic foot drill, parry drill, and attacks. Physical skills in agility, coordination and fitness will be emphasized. Rules, scoring and judging, tactics and strategy are part of the fencing mental skills developed as well. Campers will sharpen concentration and alertness, reaction and evaluation. Sparring is safe and fun. Required equipment will be furnished. Minimum of four children. Learn to turn your own baseball bat. Students will learn the basics of wood spindle turning. Learn safe shop practices and procedures that will make woodturning safe and fun. Students will take home a baseball bat. Students will walk away with a basic understanding of how to operate and maintain a wood lathe and wood turning tools. Students will be allowed open studio time on Sundays during the week of class. On this day, students are welcome to come to the shop and use the tools to catch up and refine the classroom project. Siena Saints field hockey invites you to a fun, yet intense, camp designed to help you get ready for your season. We will help you improve your fundamental skills while you work to learn new elements of the game of field hockey that will take your game to the next level. Whether you are an elite player or trying out for your team for the first time, we want to help you reach your goals. This camp is for boys and girls ages 13-17, the cost is $320 per camper. A 15% discount is available to groups of eight (8) or more campers that must be done online with a group discount code. No additions will be allowed after the initial submission of a group.
