Explore the items in “Grandmother’s Trunk” and learn how they were used, and cook on the hearth in Har-Ber Village’s Living History Cabin.

Do you know? ● There are 400 million Spanish speakers in the world. ● Foreign language learning increases critical thinking skills, creativity, and flexibility of mind in young children. ● The young developing brain is perfectly suited for learning a second language. They learn faster and better. Take advantage of this window of opportunity and give your child a head start by providing them the opportunity to learn Mandarin Chinese/Spanish. These classes are taught by native Spanish speaker, Señor Sandor who is also teaching Spanish at several neighborhood private schools. Classes are hands on and interactive. Treasures Across America Week 3 - The Chapel School
Our theme this year is Treasures Across America." Our students will learn about the our great nation by traveling cross country. We will make stops in all 50 states learning about uniqueness and history of each state. In addition to age appropriate literature and arts and craft projects, campers will have an in-house field trip once a week. We will be visited by The Nature of Things, Greenburgh Nature Center, Mad Science, The Maritime Aquarium, Dinosaurs Rock and more! Children also have the opportunity to enjoy plenty of outdoor fun, with water play and games on our secure school playground.
