Joe Russell Patriot Wrestling Camp - Joe Russell Patriot Wrestling Camp
2016 JOE RUSSELL PATRIOT WRESTLING CAMPS George Mason University Head Wrestling Coach Joe Russell is gearing up for wrestling camps. Camps include 3 commuter Folkstyle Technique Camps July 25-29 (high school only), August 1-5 (ages 6 - 18) and August 8-12 (ages 6 - 12) and a Parent/Child Family Camp August 5-6. The 2016 staff will be headlined by the Mason coaching staff and wrestlers. Coach Russell brings in outstanding credentials as both an athlete and coach. Coach Russell has THREE NCAA national championship rings from the University of Minnesota as an assistant coach. Patriot camps will not only be beneficial to the competitors but for coaches to learn and interact with one of the most knowledgeable coaches in our profession. Camp will be held in the Field House on George Mason Universitys campus. We will be offering top-notch technique stemming from the Patriot wrestling system along with one-on-one interaction with Patriot wrestlers and coaches. Our GOAL is to provide the campers with a meaningful experience where they grow as a wrestler and a person. Audition-Only College Level Teen Acting Intensive with Special Guest Instructors - Arts Effect Downtown
** PLEASE NOTE: You must audition and be accepted into this class BEFORE you register. This college-level acting workshop lead by Katie Cappiello and Meg McInerney along with Tisch School of The Arts faculty guests will focus on intense scene study and character development. Students will be challenged by advanced sense memory, improvisation, and text analysis exercises as they prepare scenes to be presented at the end of the workshop. Students will be assigned and emailed a scene prior to the workshop. This 5-day master class will require students to not only work in class on their pieces but also independently with scene partners outside of class – as they would in any theater arts college program.
