Keeping the Music Going
We worked hard to get our son interested in music and didn't want him to give up. That's why the idea of a fiddle camp was such a hoot! Not only did he get to practice his flute throughout the summer but he also picked up a few other instruments. Happy to report he is signing up for band! Trivia Night for Jacaranda Youth Camp - Moline, IL
The Republican Women of Rock Island County are sponsoring a fun trivia night for the benifit of the Jacaranda Youth Camp, a basketball camp that will be taking place later this year in Nairobi, Kenya! More information can be found at this link. www.gofundme.com/nairobibasketball The evenet will be held at MGT New Hope in Moline, 2305 7th Ave at 6:30 on Saturday, June 11th. Please come out and support not only the team going to the Jacaranda Community (http://jacarandacommunity.com/) but also the RWRICo as we get the priveledge of blessing another community! A seat is $10 per person or commit to a whole table for $65 (if booked ahead)! Please RSVP to garuntee a spot. We have 14 tables available. There will be a bake sale table as well! If you wish to donate without attending please go directly to Mr. Burget's gofundme already set up or you may send checks to 617 24th Street Moline, either have them made out to Word of Grace or Repbulican Women of RI County with Nairobi in the memo and we will get them to him!!
