Open Studio for Kid n Me (ages 1+) offers parents and caregivers a great opportunity to get creative with your child and leave the mess for us! The HCA will provide a stimulating playground where you and your children can drop in at any time and play with paint and tactile materials to your hearts content. All supplies will be provided. Brings your young epicureans enthusiasm for all things cooking back to the source of the ingredients: land, soil, seeds, animals, plants and more. Campers will explore how to grow and cook a farm-fresh meal from the ground up using ingredients that are in season and locally grown in the Napa Valley. After getting their hands dirty learning how animals, soil, water and the sun work together to produce food for our tables, kids will wash up and commence cooking. Nothing tastes better than a meal that is freshly harvested out of the ground. Each week, a local chef will visit to share knowledge about farm-to-table cooking.
