Dates: February 17-19, 2017 (Friday-Sunday) Times: Camp starts 6 PM on Friday, ends at 9 AM on Sunday Ages: 4-H Age 13-19 (Age of youth on Oct. 1, 2016) and chaperones Registration Deadline: Friday, January 27, 2017 – complete forms and return to Extension Office Cost: $40 for Ravalli County Youth, $75.00 (Out of County), write checks to Ravalli County 4-H. Requirements: All counties must provide chaperones. Youth and chaperones must stay at the camp until checked out. Activities include fun workshops, private pool and gym party at the athletic club, dance, and more. Questions? Contact the Ravalli County Extension Office at 375-6611 Detailed information about the event will be sent to campers two weeks after registration closes. Kids In The Arts Fall Camp - Knoxville, TN
A kids in the arts camp with various teachers teaching their loves in art, dance, story and performance. Activities included dance, Improv games, sculpture, dream catcher making, watercolor, painting, zen doodle, stained "glass", paper making, poetry, storytelling and more. Artist teachers include Mimi Eichholz, Jennifer White, Felecia Outsey, Kristi Gilleon, Karl Hess, Claudio Barrientos, Cynthia Baglir and Noelle Harb. On Friday we will take a field trip to Narrow Ridge Eath Literacy Center. Chaperons are welcome as wellas drivers to transport kids! Camp is $200. Scholarships are available too so ask about that. Through workshops, clinics, and private instruction, our comprehensive camp experience is designed to hone music performance and ensemble skills in a creative and fun environment. We know from experience that playing in a band situation speeds learning and creates “seasoned” musicians. Even relatively advanced musicians are amazed at the amount of progress they make when regularly playing with other musicians. Students work in a hands-on atmosphere that includes: Learning the nuts and bolts of live performance Studio/band rehearsal time Instruction and clinics with music professionals Music theory and songwriting courses Rock & Roll music appreciation Interacting with other young musicians A LIVE rock show performance for your friends and family Having fun!

Campers will spend the week making delicious desserts and mouth-watering main courses. Through daily hands-on cooking, campers will learn creative ways to cook some of their favorite dishes. Campers will learn how to make healthy cooking choices, read food labels, write recipes, measure cooking ingredients, determine proper portion sizes, and more! Please bring a light snack, or a lunch if your child is enrolled in camps all day. A $20 material fee will be collected on the first day of camp.
