My daughter loves the variety of activities at this camp
Camp Chipinaw was founded in 1926, and it is located in the breathtaking Catskill Mountains. Although it was originally an all-boys camp, by 1938 a girl’s camp was added. Camp Chipinaw is one of the oldest camps in the U.S., serving children and teens ages 7 through 16. My daughter loves the variety this camp offers: sports, visual arts, performing arts, water activities, crafts, mountain biking, horseback riding, a skate park, zip lining, trampoline, juggling and more. ... Ultimate New England Expedition - Petra Cliffs
Ages 12-16. Begin by getting to know each other on the Bolton Adventure Center ropes course, and then get psyched for a traveling adventure of climbing, hiking and sea kayaking! This trip will include climbing in New Hampshire and on the sea cliffs of Maine in Acadia National Park, sea kayaking around Mt. Desert Island, hiking Cadillac Mountain and Mt. This camp offers a world of creative play and fantastical journeys as campers use their imaginations to discover new characters, locations, and even write their own dialogue. Through the fun of this camp, we teach teamwork, communication skills, and self-confidence. During this session, performers have the opportunity to write a script, compose original music, design and build scenery, and create their own costume pieces. This will offer an inspiring and fun summer activity for your child! Led by a staff of professional Chicago based theatre artists, campers create an original musical production they present for family and friends on the last day of camp. 708-799-9400

Learn how to knit or take your knitting skills to the next level with hours of instruction and practice in this hands-on camp. Beginning knitters will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and sew their creations together. More advanced knitters will practice reducing and adding stitches while learning about tension and gauge.
