Summer Cooking Camp - Macon, GA
June 27-30 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm each day. Registration Ends on June 22nd. Students will be taught the Healthy Hands Cooking program. Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

Concession stand will be open!!!!!!!

Rock Band Camp @ SMCC - San Marcos Community Center
Students will learn how to play basic drum, guitar, bass and piano riffs to various lyric-appropriate (parent-approved) rock/pop songs of their choice. Classes will include ear training, learning to read music notation, instrumental techniques, viewing music video clips for inspiration, and more! No experience necessary, but welcomed! Instruments will be provided to share, but bring any that you have from home. Time will be allotted each day for a snack and water break. A short performance will take place on Friday at the end of class from 11:40-Noon where students will have the opportunity to sing and/or play different instruments for the songs we have been developing throughout the week. 20% sibling discount. Join until Wednesday. SPECIALTY CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY Participants wishing to drop an enrichment class/specialty camp must contact Community Services at (760) 744-9000 x3501.
