SUMMER CAMP & DAYCARE SHOWCASE--Chesterfield - Midlothian, VA
Local camps, daycares, & summer venues that offer programs for infant-18 years old will be in attendance at this showcase. Businesses and non-profits that offer summer camps & classes in sports, dance, art, cooking, fitness & academics will be present. ADMISSION IS FREE (Donations to Make-A-Wish are encouraged and accepted.) Bring the kids and go table to table to find the camps and daycares that best fit your family's needs and interests. Youth & Young Adult Camp 2016 - Joseph, OR
Hey there! This summer’s annual church camp is already down in the books, so mark your calendar! We are excited to have camp at Wallowa Lake because the Wallowas are one of Oregon’s 7 wonders! Activities that will be available are: . Riding the Wallowa Lake Tramway to the top of Mount Howard for awesome hiking and views . Horseback Riding . Swimming . Volleyball . Soccer Amenities: . Get Started on Summer Reading 5 - The Prairie School
Have fun reading a required summer reading book in a group setting. With the use of a variety of reading strategies, the course covers the reading of Number the Stars Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book they are assigned before June 20th. Additional reading at home will be required. Completion of the course will allow students to easily and successfully complete the novel-based project at home. -- Location: M-4 -- Instructors: Alicia Gasser, Prairie 5/6 English Teacher. Goalkeeper Training (14-18y) - Swope Soccer Village
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys & girls 10-18 years old. Players will engage in a competitive training environment, with high level coaching. Goalkeepers and Strikers will train separately for the first half of each session and then come together during the second half of training each day. These sessions will allow players to improve technically, tactically, physically, and psychologically. The curriculum will follow the same coaching methods as our Professional and Academy Sporting KC teams. All players will have the opportunity to be trained by our Professional Sporting KC Academy coaching staff members and all sessions will take place at the official training grounds for Sporting KC and Swope Park Rangers. We recommend completing the Shooting & Finishing camp as a prerequisite to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training but is NOT required. All curriculum is adapted to create age-appropriate sessions that will be fun, challenging and engaging. 913-387-3883

DaVinci Art and Science - Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History
Its a week of ingenious inventions as we dive into the marvelous world of Leonardo Da Vinci. Campers will make frescoes; design, build and test parachutes; attempt to walk on water and recreate many more of DaVincis clever contraptions. Mine, Craft, Build-Adventure Game Using Lego Camp - Smyrna Community Center
Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO. Resourcefulness, creativity and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources and use these resources to build special items to help in our adventures. This LEGO experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft. Campers will have a blast, even without prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO.
