Summer Camp Music Festival - Chillicothe, IL
We are happy to announce we will be teaming up with Summer Camp Music Festival to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive in Chillicothe, Illinois from May 22-24, 2015. All food donations will benefit the East Peoria Area Food Bank in Peoria, Illinois. One of our very talented artist is creating a Summer Camp event poster, which will be FREE to patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items or a suggested monetary donation. Food donations will be collected at the Conscious Alliance ‘Art That Feeds’ Gallery, which will be depicted on the Summer Camp Festival guide and map. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster. Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!

I recently learned that the business that currently houses my teaching studio is moving their enterprise to a new facility and selling the building. Soon. Therefore, I am being pro-active, now. Change is good. I need a change too. As it stands, my career and student base are growing, but my studio space is not. In order to do more amazing things for my students and the community, I started a search for a bigger, better, more creatively inviting space. Coincidentally, a like-minded creative thinker is expanding our local arts community with a vision of making our city a better place to live, by renovating an old building called the Gear Factory. Ultimate 100 CENTRAL Camp - 7th-9th Grade Session - Garfield Park
This is the Ultimate 100 Camp Invite Only event for current 7th, 8th, and 9th Graders. It will be located in the Central. If you are invited from the Central Region you should register here. States that are in this region are Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin,Missouri. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE U100 IN YOUR REGION, YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR THE CAMP AT ANY OTHER LOCATION. It is the only national camp in the USA, where we will rank the top 100 players from the event. In addition, we will choose top athletes from this camp to the U100 Top Prospect Camp and Potentially the NUC All American Game. Created for the camper who is looking for experiences you cant normally get at home or in the city, campers in this program will not only learn how to apply stories about Jesus, but also get safe, counselor-led instruction in several western activities alongside a great group of kids their age. Sports Camp week 4- Soccer - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of soccer camp, children will focus on the basic skills of soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting and goal tending , as well as agility and foot-eye coordination. Goal tending will only be taught to those children who volunteer for this position. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of soccer camp will be spent discussing the various rules of soccer such as hand ball, pushing and tripping, and playing modified games of soccer.
