Kids Holiday Yoga Camp - Jackson, NJ
The holidays are such wonderful times to spend with the family. But sometimes, you need some extra time to clean or relax away from it all. Honor Yoga Jackson is happy to invite you to our first Kids Yoga camp! Running for three days, December 28, 29, and 30, the classes are two hours each. Deanna--who also teaches kindergaten--will be teaching the kids yoga through music, games, partner yoga and silly props! Each week students will be given a readers theater script to memorize and act out in their group. Then the group will create simple costumes and props to go with the readers theater play. They will perform their skit at the end of each week, creating four readers theater skits during the summer school session. Bee Hive Camp - Red River Valley Fair
Campers will get down and dirty learning about bees while building wooden beehives at the Red River Valley Fair. Campers will learn how to construct our precut beehive building stations: box station, framing station and painting station. In-between building beehives, a bee specialist will teach the campers about bees and their habitat. Request t-shirt size on the registration form. Meet at the Schollander Information Building. Baton Twirling Camp K-8 - Clague Middle School
Boys and Girls. Looking for something unique and fun to try? Learn and practice the basics of twirling and routines. Try 2-baton, hoop and flag. Each camper receives a certificate and baton-related gift upon completion of camp. StagePlay: Jr. Musical Theater Camp - Palos Park Recreation Center
Unlike the "olden days", when fun was dependent on whatever was readily available, so much of todays youth leisure time is spent staying connected through technology. What would happen if suddenly all that went away? "A Kids Life" will explore that possibility, and thats where the fun and music all begin! The StagePlay program also incorporates valuable life lessons such as teamwork, commitment, conquering fear, being prepared, confidence and theater etiquette. On the last day of camp, our talented young stars perform for friends and family, showing off all that they have learned in only one week. Participants will receive a souvenir camp t-shirt.
