Instructor: Zarei This class will provide a positive experience while developing fundamental skills in math and reading. Our daily schedule will be filled with games and activities practicing phonemic awareness, word sorts, reading and listening comprehension. We will explore how mathematical concepts are used in everyday life, including computation, conservation and problem solving. We will have so much fun the students wont notice how much they are learning. Lets build knowledge and confidence while having a fun-filled summer together! Our two-week musical theatre camps, led by husband and wife team, David and Erin Mugglebee, offer hands-on-experience for all performance levels with the artistic aspects of creating a musical production, from performing Broadway songs and choreography to building sets and designing costumes and props. With an emphasis on creativity, students will be inspired to express themselves in a fun and dynamic atmosphere Each two-week camp session includes rehearsals, production design, drama games, and a final production for friends and family. Designed specifically to meet the needs of middle schoolers, the daily program offers a diverse selection of activities, arts, academics and experiences. Campers explore science, arts and crafts, math, environmental education, computer keyboarding and software, and geocaching each week. The camp offers instruction and supervised play in a variety of sports. In addition, campers will learn the importance of teamwork and charity as they join the other Hawks Haven campers on field trips when appropriate.
