Film Premiere Stages for Youth Summer Film Camp - Cincinnati, OH
***PLEASE NOTE VENUE CHANGE*** Join Stages For Youth in celebrating the accomplishments of 30 young filmmakers who attended the 2016 Stages For Youth summer film bootcamp. Participants, ages 12 to 19, from SCPA, Springer, Clark, Walnut, Bethany House, Seven Hills, Mercy, Purcell, Waldorf, Aiken, Withrow, as well as home educated, YWCA Rosie’s Girls and The Squash Academy came to Stages For Youth and were challenged...to make a short film…in only 2 weeks! Along the way they learned the film craft, they created, collaborated, debated, negotiated, and problem solved…and all came away with mission accomplished, a testament to their creativity, resolve, teamwork, and spirit. Movies will start around 8:30 PM in beautiful Union Hall. Total run time is about one hour and will be followed by awards. We have a hundred chairs and then some, so please bring your friends. This is a free, public, family event and all are welcome!
Creative Kids Drop-In Winter Culinary Camp
Our 3rd day of camp, the students will prepare some fun and festive appitizers perfect for New Year's Eve! They will get to take home a selction to share with family and friends while ringing in the new year. Kid-friendly favorites such as pigs in a blanket, meatballs, cheese straws, and homemade ranch dip for veggies. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Learning areas: history, social studies, science, math, kitchen safety. Limit: 10 students Suggested ages: 6+ (younger are welcome with adult helper present) Warning: not an allergy-free event! Nuts will be present as well as wheat. Cost: $15 per child, per class.

CBMM’s Kids Club summer camps for 6-7 Year Olds - Saint Michaels, MD
Beginning June 20 and continuing through July 29, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering its week-long, half day Kids Camps, which bring age-appropriate Chesapeake-themed camps for children 4-7 years of age. Led by a CBMM educator, young Kids Club campers explore the magic of the Chesapeake Bay’s people, animals, and watercraft through fun and interactive activities, stories, games, and crafts. CBMM’s summer camps for children 4-5 years of age are offered during the weeks of June 20, July 4, and July 18; camps for children 6-7 years of age are offered the weeks of June 27, July 11, and July 25. Daily camps take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with campers meeting at CBMM’s Dorchester House and exploring the museum’s 18-acre campus and numerous exhibition buildings as part of the program. Come join head coach John Kwok and the St. Thomas basketball staff for an intensive 4-day camp to better maximize your summer basketball season. Current and former STH basketball players will complete the staff promoting individual development through a variety of skill instruction sessions and competitive daily scrimmages with an emphasis on offensive / defensive team concepts.
