Lake Adventure Camp - Burlington, VT
This camp combines the best of all our lake ecology, maritime heritage and adventure skills— for kids who love to be outdoors! We will explore the waterfront environment on bikes; explore shipwrecks with masks, snorkels and fins; and take an expedition down a river as original inhabitants of the Champlain Basin would have. Well be on the go but have enough down-time for swimming, playing games and having fun on the waterfront each day. 802-475-2022
TeenzArt Workshop Series B - Kaleidoscope: Imagine, Learn, Create
This drawing-based class is full of challenging design projects that will push your creative potential to the max. Our students become more independent and a personal sense of individual style grows stronger. We will mix it up to explore oil pastels, Prismacolor markers, and charcoal all in one session. 8088887660.0
Intro to Programming - Duluth First United Methodist Church
COURSE Campers will be using a software program from MIT called Scratch. The program was designed for children, and teaches them the basics of programming as they create animated stories, video games, and interactive artwork. Young Artist K-2nd - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
This studio class will provide young art students with a multi-media introduction to the visual arts (including painting, and ceramics). Your student will explore a wide variety of different art media and tools, employ creative problem-solving, and learn to express themselves through visual imagery. Jr. Brick Robotics - Our Saviors Lutheran School
Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, soccer players, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories. If ready, campers than move to advanced building and programming projects that include: a Racecar, Ferris wheel, and Carousel. As the week draws to a close, campers can utilize the skills they have learned to build and program their own creations. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs creations. 5184799888.0
