JDRF has partnered together with Camp Soaring Eagle to offer a FREE CAMP to Type One Diabetic children ages 8-15 to come experience the healing power of laughter! CSE offers two camper weekends dedicated to T1D kids in a session for Teens and a session for Youth. Youth T1D camp is for kids 8-12 and Teen T1D Camp is for kids 13-15. The camper session runs from Friday-Sunday. CSE provides the campers with opportunity to learn about diabetes management and encourages independent health care. Campers with diabetes feel normal because they see all their peers with the same challenging diagnosis. CSE provides a balanced diet and menu with all carb counts for all meals. Practice hitting, kicking, batting, rolling, and throwing balls of all sizes and shapes. Focus on different ball sports each week. Tour major sports facilities in the area. 4058483132.0
Wet & Wild - GRACE Christian School
This GRACE camp is based on the theme of water. Each day the activities will be based on this theme. Our biggest field trip of the summer is to Wet n Wild waterpark. For increased safety, this will be a family trip. So plan on joining the fun:) We also swim at T.A.C. Instructor: John Leddy "Summertime fun begins at Spartan Quest, (formerly known as Sports Camp). This class will run for all 10 weeks of summer school giving your camper a consistent, exciting summer daycamp experience. We will spend the mornings doing fun things on campus like; playing games, flying kites, dodge ball, hide-n-seek, flag football, basketball, video games, etc…. We also will build our own fun when we build things like; bow and arrows from PVC pipe, marshmallow shooters, mini-golf-courses, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and anything else we can think of! In the afternoon we continue our fun off campus at places like; Tanganyika, ice skating, roller skating, Lazerquest, Watson Park, mini-golf, All-Star Adventures, Water Center, Bug Lady and many more too numerous to mention. This class is designed for students entering 2nd to 8thgrades who are looking for unlimited fun and adventure. Camp Splash I - Off the Beaten Path Bookstore
This camp is all about getting wet! Learn about the issues surrounding water locally and around the world. Well read a variety of books about water adventures and even have a river rafting adventure of our own! Campers will explore the waterways in our Yampa River Valley and try their hands at catching aquatic insects and fish. This camp includes an overnight rafting trip with Camp Splash II students. Students will attend camp in Steamboat M-W 8:30-5PM. Leave Steamboat early Thursday morning and return Friday at 1pm. 855-426-6587
