The TechTerraTM curriculum takes two seemingly opposing elements — technology and nature — and brings them together to help children better understand the world around them and the gadgets in their hands, through coding, storytelling and use of digital devices. The camp was developed by Susan Wells, a national leader in STEM, mobile-integrated education and veteran public educator. The curriculum is inspired and informed by STEM, Nature, Maker Ed and Project Based Learning. How Is Medication Handled On Site?
Summer camps employ qualified nurses and med-certified staff to ensure that all medication, controlled or over-the-counter, is properly handled. There are also a number of CPR- and First Aid- trained staff members who can assist in medical situations. All of the program’s employees are given a basic training on first aid as well as on the importance of identifying and dealing with allergies and asthma. These staff members are also given information about common mental health conditions like depression and ADHD/ADD.

Youth groups and individuals are encouraged to bring material to sing during the service. Spaghetti Dinner - Summer Camps Fundraiser - Calumet, OK
You're invited to join us for our 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Camps Fundraiser at Calumet UMC. Last year, thanks to the generous support of the community of Calumet, all campers who wanted to attend camp were given the gift to go. We have over 50 campers expressing interest this year from 1st Grade - Senior High, and from various faith families. We hope that you will help us support Calumet children and youth attending church camps again this year. Bake sale items will be available to treat your sweet tooth! Contacts: Rev. 2016 Teen Safe Driving Camp - Forsyth, GA
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, will be holding the 9th annual Safe Driving Camp for ages 15-17. The one day camp will teach new drivers about the consequences of distracted driving, the dangers of driving impaired, tips for defensive driving, skid recovery techniques, safety at railroad crossings, and demonstrate important vehicle maintenance practices. The camp will take place at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center from 9:00am until 4:30pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Anyone wishing to attend must complete the application and return it to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office either in person or by mail. Deadline for applications is Friday, July 01, 2016. Applications may be picked up at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office during normal business hours. Space is limited.
Watauga Kid Fish & Campout - Watauga, TX
Come out to Watauga's Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars! Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. Don't forget your tent and camping gear! Fishing Derby Age Divisions: 6 & Under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded. We will have a few food vendors on site to purchase dinner & treats. A Free Breakfast will be provided for the overnight campers the following morning at 7:30AM. You MUST pre register for the campout by Thursday, September 16 in order to receive the free breakfast. Space is limited for breakfast. Also, the River Church will be at the event giving away free clothing!! Make sure to stop by to visit them.

Advanced Emergency Vet-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Campers take veterinary medicine to the next level! Our young Vets will learn how to give an injection to an orange, practice suturing on our suture glove, perform a fetal pig heart dissection, and will examine animal parasitic diseases. This camp also includes a rat dissection and neutering procedure. 678-294-9504
Music Theater Camp - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Our most popular camp every summer! We provide a comprehensive program of intensive classes in a wide variety of theater performing arts, each taught by a working professional in that field. Students train for 3 weeks, five days a week, in the 3 disciplines of musical theater - dance, music, and acting in addition to rehearsing a full musical which will culminate in one of our main stage productions. Developing the ability to sustain concentration throughout the process is one of the most important skills that students take away from the program. Along with the daily basic skills work, students will learn and grow attending separate workshops such as audition preparation, bringing songs to life, how to conquer your nerves and life in the business from professionals that are IN the business! This camp is for the serious singing actor. You will work with professionals from the local DFW stages as well as Broadway and Opera! Camp culminates in full productions of a show to be named soon (June 24-26 and July 1-3) for our older students and Junie B. Jones (June 27 – July 2) for our younger students. 817-421-2825
