Annual Camping & Kid Fish Event in the Park - W.m. Brook Park
The annual camping and kid fish event will be held on June 5-6, 2015 at W. M. Brook Park. Registration will be held on Friday, June 5th at 6pm followed by a hot dog supper, movie in the park (The Goonies) , and campfire fun. Participants can then go camping or fishing. Week 2 AM - Kayak Fishing - NESS
This week is open to experienced kayakers and anglers who are ready to take their skills to the next level! Some of last years catches included porgies, snapper blues, pilot fish, trigger fish and even a remora! You never know exactly what will happen in this exciting class where we get to explore more closely some of the best inshore fishing spots. We will be teaching the basics of fishing from a kayak, tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. We practice catch and release only.
