Should a Child Bring Money?
All necessities are covered by the camp program. Youth should not need additional money for things like food and over-the-counter medication options. However, some programs do have canteens or bodegas were tough can purchase anything from snacks and toiletries to postcards and magazines.
Parents should always read a camp’s Welcome Guide and call to see if youth should bring any money to camp. For example, the kids might be allowed off camp one day a week to go into town. This is a great chance to see the community and buy ice cream or see a movie. No child wants...

Graham Regional Theatre is excited to hold their first ever summer camp for aspiring actors! Classes and rehearsals will be at The Perry (521 Elm Street) where we will work on singing, dancing, and staging for our musical, Seussical, Jr.! All roles will be played by campers ages 18 and under. Included in the cost of camp is: Theatre, vocal, and movement instruction by theatre professionals and GRT veteran performers. Camp t-shirt Script for Seussical, Jr. Costuming for Seussical, Jr. 2 comp tickets for either performance Ages: Completed 2nd - 12th grades Camp Dates: June 13 - 17, 2016 Auditions: Sunday, June 5, 2016 @ 2 pm - Any camper interested in a leading role should come prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical theatre song. Survivors Supporting Survivors TEEN SUPPORT GROUP This group is designed to offer an opportunity for the teens to talk about the struggles of a cancer diagnosis without becoming a counseling group. We set the table in a variety of way to help the healing process happen much faster. We guide them in real life challenges and allow them to discuss and support each other in ways you don’t see in normal life. Come prepared for an outdoor farm experience: dress weather-appropriate! It's gonna be jammed packed with exercises on great communication, problem solving skills and fun team building moments that bond these teens together. When: Monday, October 24th, 2016 Time: 6:00PM- 8:00PM Where: Farmstead Corn Maze (The Farmstead 1020 S. Rackham Way Meridian, ID 83642) Who: Any young adult between the ages of 13-18yrs who has been diagnosed with cancer. TECH IT OUT- Robotics I-Stories or Interactive Stories is a hands-on minds on learning experience that enhances students reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through project-based learning and STEM Literacy. STEM literacy relates to a students ability to understand and apply concepts from science, technology, engineering and mathematics in order to solve complex problems. Campers will use LEGO WeDo to constructing their own stories with over 20 main characters models featuring working motors and sensors to choose from; code their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities that develop their literacy skills of reading, writing, designing, speaking and listening. Combine the two most important skills in volleyball in one session! Campers will work on both skills, getting all-important multiple reps.
