LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Volleyball Youth Camp #1 - Youth Skills Camp - Chico State University - Acker Gym
The Youth Skills Camp will introduce boys and girls to the sport of volleyball. The focus is on providing a positive environment for learning and sharing on and off the volleyball court. A variety of drills, games and competitions will be used to complete the understanding of each skill. Instruction is provided by members of the current Chico State coaching staff. All Chico State Volleyball camps will be held in Acker Gymnasium on the campus of Chico State University. A fee of $25 will be charged for any registration cancelled prior to the start of camp. Could you suggest camp options for a 10 year old boy?
If you're opening to travel, I would suggest making a list of what you (and your son) are looking for in a camp. Is there a particular activity he likes or would like to try? Is a religious based program important, if so, how important? Do you want it to be an all boys camp or would you prefer a coed experience? I suggest looking at American Camp Association Accredited camps. Also program length is important. If your son is independent and does well away from home you could consider a two-week program. If he does not do well away...

Titus Strength Training Boys/Girls - Sanford Day Camp
Titus Speed-Strength training system and programming focuses on increasing an athletes total body explosiveness, ability to run faster, jump higher, throw further, increase change of direction efficiency and improve speed endurance. The camp will focus on mobility/flexibility, agility, balance, reaction speed and coordination for young athletes. Most exercises use the athletes own body weight or light resistance. Resistance training exercises are safe and fundamental in nature and focus on maintaining posture and positioning throughout the full range of motion. This is a great program for building any young athletes fitness and training base. ---------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. Campers will be transported to the Titus™ Center. ---------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. An afternoon icy treat will be served. ---------- At the end of Sport/Specialty Camp registration, you can register your child for Day Camp at: 610-565-4850
