Could you suggest camp options for a 10 year old boy?
If you're opening to travel, I would suggest making a list of what you (and your son) are looking for in a camp. Is there a particular activity he likes or would like to try? Is a religious based program important, if so, how important? Do you want it to be an all boys camp or would you prefer a coed experience? I suggest looking at American Camp Association Accredited camps. Also program length is important. If your son is independent and does well away from home you could consider a two-week program. If he does not do well away...

Summer Teen Camp - Brevard, NC
This summer we will be going to camp on week 10. That will be August 3rd – 8th. The evangelist will be Tom Farrell. Every teen and junior is invited to join us for summer camp. Teen campers must be 12 years old by September 1, 2015 and junior campers must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2015. The cost for teen campers is $345.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 The cost for junior camp is $335.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 This year you can register online and just be sure to join your registration up with Calvary Baptist Church of New Bern.

Moon Walk: Teen Pagan Camp - La Mesa, CA
All Paths Welcome. If you're between the ages of 12 to 17, please join us at Briercrest Park in La Mesa from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, 9/26/15 AND Sunday 9/27/25 for a jam-packed metaphysical teen camp! We'll be learning grounding & centering techniques, how to shield and much more! The camp is FREE at this time, but a signed parent permission slip is required to participate. Introduction to Coding Camp - Mercer Island- Community Center
Coding Camp follows a progressive computer science curriculum that teaches kids how to code using Scratch, an event-driven visual drag & drop programming language developed by MIT Media Lab. Kids will learn fundamental computer programming concepts, techniques and best practices while learning to code interactive computer programs and games based upon the TechSmartKids Coders methodology. This camp is intended for students that are new to the TechSmartKids program and is a pre-requisite for TechSmartKids more advanced Coding Classes. 425-786-7824

Basketball Camp Session 4 - Cleo Dumaree
Lil Dribblers - Campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball in a safe and fun environment. No flexible drop off or pick up. Breakfast and lunch NOT provided. Refunds requested between five and 10 business days prior to camp session will receive a 50 percent refund; and requests received less than five business days prior to camp session will not receive a refund. Refunds take 6-8 weeks to process. A $15 processing fee will be assessed for each refund request. Note: $10 deposit will not be refunded. Sunflower Basketball Camp - Ages 6-7 - Olathe Community Center
This is a fundamentally-based camp for boys and girls ages 6-13; focusing on skill development through daily drill periods, contests, and competitive games. Instruction is provided by High School coaches and current and former college basketball players. Camp Director, Brett McFall, is an Olathe South High School grad and 1997 Mr. Kansas Basketball. Brett was a 4-year player at the University of Wyoming (1997-2001) and played professionally in Europe and the USA (2002-2004). He has 13 years of coaching experience and is currently the head coach at Shawnee Mission South High School. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Enjoy your days at camp and your nights in your own bed! New this year we are offering our Junior Campers the option of coming as Day Campers. You will be assigned a cabin and team for the week, sign up for three achievements like archery, music, fishing, drama and more (15+ to choose from).
