Teens can join us for a night of fun in the park. We will have a planning meeting for the fall, followed by a night hike, and the campfire at 7:30pm. Email stephanie.hoffer@phila.gov for more information.

Summer Camp 2016 - Campus by the Sea - Avalon, CA

Kids In The Arts Fall Camp - Knoxville, TN
A kids in the arts camp with various teachers teaching their loves in art, dance, story and performance. Activities included dance, Improv games, sculpture, dream catcher making, watercolor, painting, zen doodle, stained "glass", paper making, poetry, storytelling and more. Artist teachers include Mimi Eichholz, Jennifer White, Felecia Outsey, Kristi Gilleon, Karl Hess, Claudio Barrientos, Cynthia Baglir and Noelle Harb. On Friday we will take a field trip to Narrow Ridge Eath Literacy Center. Chaperons are welcome as wellas drivers to transport kids! Camp is $200. Scholarships are available too so ask about that. Adventure Day Camp - Meineke Recreation Center (MRC)
This fun-filled Monday-Friday camp is designed for your child to take part in eleven weeks of recreational activities, swimming, field trips and more. Camp is held out of the Meineke Recreation Center, 220 East Weathersfield Way. Extended care is also offered for an additional fee. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch and suit everyday, unless specified. Parents will receive a detailed camp calendar prior to the start of camp. WEEK 8: Ages 4-8: MARINE BIOLOGY AND OCEANOGRAPHY - SciTech Kids
Marine biology is the study of marine organisms in the ocean. Kids will learn what lurks in various bodies of water. First, they will use a probe to study the water in Central Park and collect water sample to identify species in their habitat. Students will visit a marine habitat to enjoy the oceans beauty. They will also build and deploy a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to study deeper water in New York City to see how exploration is done. In addition, kids will learn about climate change and its impact on the environment. Lunch and snacks are included. 212-804-7055

Fantasy Dance Camp - Winnetka Community House
This very popular camp incorporates imagination, movement, pantomime, music, dance and enchanting costumes to make for a wonderful summer experience. Each week we will explore a new theme, learn basic ballet, improve motor skills, complete an arts & crafts project and enjoy a yummy snack. Please have your child toilet trained as the insturctor will not change diapers. This camp meets one cay a week for two hours. You may sign up for as many days as you wish.
