Throwing on the Wheel & Terrific Textures Take your clay projects to the next level! Give your thrown work and clay sculptures a little extra pizzazz with a variety of interesting and exciting textures. This week we will: * Make our own unique animals using texture mats and hard slab construction techniques * Embellish a tile with a variety of stamps and textures to create an interesting landscape * Create a playful sculpture that highlights or exaggerates a texture of your choice. Morning: Levers, Trebuchets & Catapults What happens when you combine levers and robotics? Medieval machines, catapults, trebuchets, draw bridges, hammers, clock and walking robots! Do you know the difference between a trebuchet and a catapult? Can you make a robotic clock? Here is your opportunity to learn about the different types of levers while building Lego robots. In Levers, Trebuchets & Catapults you will nail the competition while time and the ping pong balls of warfare fly as you break down enemy walls and minions. A little modern technology and Lego can defy the impossible.
