TECH IT OUT Robotics is a high tech interactive day camp where kids and teens learn how to construct, code and compete with a robot of their own design in small teams. While having fun, youth are engaged in teamwork, as well as computer science, problem solving using math, robot engineering design concepts and critical thinking. It's a great way for both Heritage learners and non-heritage learners to expand their knowledge of specific ethnic group from various parts of the African continent. Our goal is to foster a cultural connection to the chosen African ethnic group and enhance cultural awareness, appreciation and heritage esteem in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All classes are taught by native speakers of the respective ethnic group. Culture camp is designed for children 6 year to 14 years and is held once a month from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays.
