LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Fitness & Character Education (F.A.C.E.) Camp - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
The Fitness and Character Education (FACE) program combines 25+ years training of Martial Arts, jumping rope, and juggling to guarantee results in agility, coordination, focus, and timing for todays youth. Sensei Kirk Farber incorporates building self-esteem and character education within every class session. Each session emphasizes the principles and concepts to enhance the individuals fitness skills while speaking on character traits. Camp will include the FACE class, outside activities, and agility/coordination training. Each week will have a different theme. Prizes will be earned at the end of each week. Students should have shoes for jumping rope and outside, and snack should be provided for camper. 904-256-5071

How Are Staff Members At Camp Trained?
During staff training, counselors and other staff members are trained in basic youth development, behavior management and common issues, group formation, diversity and cultural competency. Common issues like homesickness are also touched on, and counselors are reminded of the importance of encouraging youth to reach their full potential. The camp’s culture and mission as well as the schedule and related activities are also explained in full detail. Additionally, staff learn basic first aid and how to manage different emergencies.

The second informational meeting will be on Sunday, January 31st. If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. Chewbacchus Kids: Winter Parade Camp - New Orleans, LA
Join the Krewe of Chewbacchus this December break for Winter Parade Camp! Our winter campers learn about the history of Mardi Gras traditions in New Orleans and around the world. They create costumes and throws, and build their own shoebox float. At the end of the week, we throw an awesome parade and party with our Chewbacchus kids and families. Camp is held at Castillo Blanco Art Studios, 4321 St. Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA. Winter Parade Camp Dec 26-30 Group 1: 10:30am – 1:00pm, Group 2: 1:30pm – 4:00pm AGES: 5-14 COST: $100 Spaces are limited - registration is open until December 12th!
