Summer Art Camp for Kids - Winslow, AR
Summer Art Camp for Kids babaMonday-Friday, July 11-15, 9-12am Special outdoor dinner and performance on Friday, July 15, beginning at 6pm. Explore new areas in the arts at Summer Art Camp, July 11-15 at Ozark Folkways! Create giant masks and bring the characters of the Russian folk tale Baba Yaga to life as you experiment with music-making, movement, and mime! There will be witches, magical animals, fabulous costumes, lights, music and action: fun for all levels. Everyone will take part in a final performance at dusk on Friday, July 15 on our outdoor stage, the Crow’s Nest. The community will be invited to join in a weiner roast before the show, and then to marvel at the amazing performance the kids will have put together in a single week! Cost is $25 per child and includes all supplies and a healthy mid morning snack each day. Space is limited! Pre-registration is required and spots are available on a first come first serve basis. Kid's Night Out - Camp Out Friday, January 20, 5:00-8:00 Suggested Ages: 3-9 (drop off) $45 ($35 for each additional sibling) Send the kids to camp out at TLGT. Ms. Suzanne and the kids will make a pretend fire to sing songs around and tell not-so-scary stories. In addition to a delicious campfire dinner, the kids will enjoy smores for dessert.

Activities for Middle School could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, bike riding (Middle School week, helmet required), waterpark, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.
