What Types of Special Needs Camps Are There?
Youth who have specific medical conditions or special needs can also have a summer camp experience. There are programs designed to bring together youth who may not fit into a traditional setting. For example, there are groups for children battling cancer as well as programs for children with diabetes. There are programs for all types of youth: from those who want to lose weight and do not want to be judged or bullied to kids who are in wheelchairs. 2016 FM Youth Camp Reunion - Ash Grove, MO
PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD. Invite your friends who were campers with you or served with you at FM Youth Camp! www.fmyouth.wix.com/reunion --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who: All past campers and staff from FM Youth Camp What: Friday night it starts with a time to share memories and spend the night at the campgrounds! We will all spend the night in the dorms to bring back memories of when we were campers/staff at FM Youth! This event is for 7th grade and above. If you are 6th grade or below, a parent/guardian must be attending the event as well. We would LOVE to have families come! Bring your spouse and children; just make sure to register them too!! Saturday will be treated as a day of camp and a work day. It will conclude with a pie auction and hamburger fry at 6pm. Proceeds raised from this will go towards the trustees. FALL Retreat - Timeless! - Prescott, AZ
FALL RETREAT SIGN UPS!!! Retreat is a time to get AWAY and get WITH God! We will have activities such as High Ropes, Zip Lining, Rock Climbing, and Archery on retreat. Join Coach George Mulry and his players at this high energy, skill packed camp. Players will learn the fundamentals and techniques that make the LHS program so successful. Drills and play will focus on the basic skills of volleyball including serving, passing, hitting, setting, blocking, serve-receive and defense. Players of all levels and positions are encouraged to attend. Campers should pack a peanut free lunch and water bottle daily. Movement Explorers Dance Camp - Carnegie Building
Got a kid who loves to move? This is the camp for you! Creative Movement is an exploratory camp that encourages students to be curious about all the wonderful ways their body can move. Each day of camp has a theme that dancers will explore through story, movement, music, props, crafts & games, allowing them to express themselves while learning movement vocabulary, strengthening coordination, gross and fine motor skills, and focus.
