MAS Youth Summer Camp! August 7th-9th - Junction City, KS
WHEN IS THE CAMP? The camp will, Insha'Allah, be from Friday, August 7th - Sunday, August 9th. WHERE WILL THE CAMP TAKE PLACE? Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 11-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $90 per child by July 24th midnight. After July 24th, the cost will go up to $110/per child. Registration space is limited. WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? For the early registration discount, register by Friday, July 24th. After July 24th, the cost will go up to $110 instead of $90. The last day to register is Friday, July 31st. Registration will close after July 31st or before if all spots have been filled. WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FOR THE CAMP? Paddle New York: Summer Camp Weekend Moose River - Lyons Falls, NY
The Moose is a classic northeast creek. Big drops with multiple options for cool new lines. Intermediate and advanced boaters are welcome! Boat demos will be available from Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company, and paddles will be available for demo from Werner Paddles. Friday: Evening: Arrive at Fowlersville put-in and set up camp. Drinks and food around a campfire Saturday: Morning first timers run. Creeking clinics will be available. River Runners Reunion Camp - Black Hill Visitor Center
This camp was created especially for paddlers who have completed our River Adventures Kayak Camp, or have strong river-running skills. Join us for five full days of exploring new waterways and wildlife-watching from a kayak! Art Across Cultures - During this session, you will make and learn about art all over the world. You will have the chance to try out new techniques and media while making art inspired by cultures near and far. Max Lax Lacrosse - Wellington Gym
Max Lax is a co-educational sports camp that focuses on introducing children to the sport of lacrosse as well as other cooperative games. Your child will learn the basic skills of lacrosse and participate in different games, which will help with the development of those skills while also having fun. At camp your child will also play different team building and cooperative games such as capture the flag, water balloon team tag, lacrosse baseball, dodge ball and European handball. The campers will also have the opportunity to cool off from the summer sun on the camp favorite: Max Lax Mega Slip n Slide.
