15 hours of tennis instruction in our 3-Day Tennis Camp. Research is what sets us apart from the rest. We will show you Super Slow motion of professional players and fundamentals at the highest level. Through Dartfish split screen analysis we will show you the efficiency of your stroke and how to improve in less time. This program features Dartfish video analysis of the forehands, backhands and serve. Other strokes covered throughout the 3 day program are volleys, return, approach shot, overhead and lob. With more time to practice and drill, the strokes-to-strategy emphasis allows the player to improve at a faster rate. The 3 day camp includes a free Private lesson CD ($75 value), and unlimited use of the tennis facility and ball machines. Teens Camp (ages 13-18) If your teen is looking for a fun way to spend their summer, this is it! Students wil learn beginner photography with Mirroless cameras that wil be provided to them. Creative techniques will also be introduced to help enhance their skills and imaginations! Students are required to bring their own SD card to each class. SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Lego Animation Session II: July 11 to July 22 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. RailHawks professional goalkeeping coaches and goalkeepers will teach the fundamental skills of goalkeeping, including handling the ball, footwork, positioning, diving, and more. This year, a new vocal component has been added to the camp! Vocalists will learn to sing with an ensemble, combo and develop jazz singing skills. Special lessons will be available such as style, interpretation, vocal technique, introduction to music theory, scat singing and more. Plus, top vocalists will be featured with the jazz combos at JazzFest! Space is limited for vocalists! Vocal applicants will have to audition before final acceptance Audition Criteria: 1. A standard jazz tune (Fly Me to the Moon, Stormy Weather, etc.); please bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist 2. Auditionees will be required to perform range and tonal memory tests. 3. Auditions may take place in person on the campus of Augustana University with Dr. Russell Svenningsen, by submitting a private YouTube, or audition via Skype. 4.
