Proudly announcing a summer camp filled with magical things for every princess and knight! From kissing frogs, sitting on peas, to slaying dragons, campers will engage in many fun and exciting opportunities. Building castles, creating magic fairy dust, crafting a coat of arms, and designing a custom knight/princess costume are just some of the excitement this camp has to offer. We will cover all the knight and princess essentials, especially kindness and manners. The week will conclude with a Fairytale Festival for families and siblings to showcase the weeks creations! Youth Softball & Baseball Fundamentals Camp by Josh Newman - South Web
Instructor : Josh Newman currently the Assistant Baseball Coach for Marshall University and formerly with the Colorado Rockies and the KC Royals. This camp is open to all boys and girls, ages 7-12 in all school districts. Josh will be covering the fundamentals of the game for softball and baseball. Advance Registration and payment must be received no later than June 6th to guarantee a spot at camp and a tshirt. *Early Registration is $35 per athlete and must be received by June 1st and includes lunch and a tshirt. *after June 1st Group registration of 10 or more players for $45 per player and $40 for siblings. Each group of 10 will receive the 11th player free. We request that your 11th player be need based. Individual Registration fees are $50 for the first child and $40 for each additional child in the same family. Please make checks payable to South Webster Little League. The second annual Kid's Safety Boot Camp will be held on May 20th from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. This years camp is for students completing grades five through 7. Registration is limited to 25 students. Come and join the fun at Sugar Pine during October Break. It’s going to be an exciting week full of friends, adventure and growth. You’ll play lots of games: including target sports, board games, and adventurous activities. Kodu & Logo Programming - The Evergreen School
Students will learn how to program their own computer games and simulations, using Microsofts Kodu interactive game development environment and NetLogo, developed at Northwestern University. They will design their own landscapes for their Kodu character to navigate, add apples to collect and score points, and much more in this visual, block-based programming language. Well learn NetLogo by exploring models of ant colonies, traffic simulations, and the theory of wolf-sheep predation. Then students will design their own scenarios and even create games by typing in simple text-based code. No previous experience necessary. 206-957-1533

The InvestiGator Club curriculum allows children the opportunity for scientific exploration, problem solving and dramatizations within their play. This class will explore the art of improvisation with an emphasis on confidence building and acting technique. Theatre games, creative scene scenarios, role playing, as well as soliloquy and monologue training are just some of the methods used in the course. Students will design and create characters that will change and evolve during the class as they interact with each other on the stage without the use of scripts. In this hands-on class, campers will use the LEGO system to create simple machines. They will learn about levers, pulleys, axels, wheels, and gears through activates designed to challenge the young engineer. Owl Pride Team Camp is for all student-athletes interested in playing football who will be in grades 7-12 during the 2016-2017 school year. Campers should bring athletic wear and football cleats to camp. Pre-registered campers will receive a camp shirt and water bottle. Walk-up registration will be accepted, but shirts and water bottles will not be guaranteed and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
