as your child ever wondered where their food comes from and where their trash goes? In Camp Green Science, campers will investigate, discover and explore how the choices we make have a direct impact on the environment we live in and learn simple things we can do to reduce our carbon footprint. Through fun, interactive activities, theyll learn about renewable energy including sun, wind, water and even potatoes! Theyll see the Greenhouse effect up close and learn how cow burps are related to trash and climate change. Campers will learn how to clean our oceans, purify drinking water, and start a compost pile. Theyll investigate why the rainforest needs to be saved, make their own paper, plant seeds in recycled paper planters, and taste fresh honey. Theyll snack on solar smores and swamp juice smoothies.
