Winter in the Wild: Furs & Feathers (Youth Groups Only) - Hull, IL
Exclusive for Non-Profit Youth Groups! Registration limited to first 30 youth Become a GC wildlife detective while on school vacation! Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. Outland Studios Kid Day Camp - Cambridge Springs, PA
Session begins July 11th and ends July 14th from 9 am - noon every day with a final gallery show just for the kids on July 15th at 4pm. Outland Studios kids art day camp! We will explore all the possibilities of the art world in fun and exciting ways. Have your child come and learn about different art mediums and explore their expressive side. Activities will include: Making a Camp Totem Pole (crafting) Exploring the World of Painting ( Acrylic, watercolor, etc) 3D Art (earthen ware and experimental mediums) Art in Nature (Sketching and an outdoor hike) and a Final Mural Piece to be displayed with all of their other work from the week in a Kids Exclusive Gallery Show on the 15th! All kids participating will receive a mixed medium art tablet, charcoal pencil and eraser sets, a paint brush and a kit to keep all of their supplies in! All supplies to create their pieces are provided by Outland Studios. Parents are more than welcome to stay and help or watch their children grow! This camp is perfect for newcomers or those who want to brush up on their skills by playing flag football games. "Skill of the day" will teach the core components of passing, catching, de-flagging, and defensive positioning in a fun, positive environment. Have you ever dreamed about playing the harp but have never had the chance to do it? In this new summer camp you have the rare opportunity to learn the basics of playing the harp with other students your age.
