LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Algebra Bridge Class - TRINITY ACADEMY
This class is for the student who has completed Algebra I and wants to reinforce those skills before entering Geometry or Algebra II. There will be particular emphasis on the second semester Algebra I concepts that typically cause students difficulty. Items covered will include the following: solving and rearranging equations, slope, writing equations of lines, solving systems of equations, simplifying exponents, multiplying binomials (FOIL) reducing radical expressions, and factoring. Students are expected to take notes, work on in-class assignments, and should be prepared to complete some assignments at home. Senior High Teen Camp 2016 - Augusta, WV
The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 19th. Activities for Senior High could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, community service, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.

Be a Civil War Soldier: Kid’s Camp - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 8-12 years old? Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 16 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is April 8th. Summer Camp Juniper Jedis - Skyliner Lodge
Wildheart Juniper Jedis know how to tap into the invisible web of interconnectedness and travel through the woods without being noticed. Students will learn the art of silently stalking animals and people. In addition, they will practice listening closely to the Earth Force. Camouflage is essential for all Juniper Jedis and we will spend a good deal of our time practicing this skill of becoming invisible. Each participant will leave the camp with a complete camouflage kit, which will enable them to quickly blend in to their surroundings, no matter what the situation. Additionally, students will develop their ability to understand the language of the birds, giving them a birds-eye-view of their surroundings and informing them what their prey is up to, as well as any nearby predators. All of this and well still have time to play and enjoy ourselves as every Juniper Jedi knows how to have a good time! 8-Week Introduction to non-contact rugby for grades K-2nd! Non-contact rugby is a modified version of the traditional tackle version of the game and is an excellent way to introduce the sport to new or young players. This version of the game focuses on the fundamental skills of rugby which help develop basic motor skills and coordination, while also having a huge emphasis on having fun!
