This Boy Scout Ranch Camp was established in 1983. My 14 year old son would not miss signing up for this summer camp. Nestled in over 200 miles of rugged country it is the perfect place to camp and explore nature. Our son liked the diverse topography of the land. Soccer Boys Returning Varsity and JV Camp (06/13/2016-07/22/2016) - Centennial Park
MTWTH: 6/13-6/30/2016 and MWF: 7/6-7/22/16. Camp for Returning Varsity and JV players. The first three weeks will be on the field: technical training, small sided games, going to Goal, as well as finishing and fitness. The last three weeks will be spent in the weight room. Baseball: The Milwaukee Brewers Academy - Patriots Hall
This is the official youth baseball/softball camp of the Milwaukee Brewers. In addition to 30 hours of professional-grade instruction, each camper will receive a full uniform, four tickets to a Brewers game, and a VIP Miller Park experience that will include meeting a current player. He/she will also participate in the Brewers Skills Competition with the top scorers competing on Champions Day at Miller Park. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-14 and runs M-F from 9am to 3pm. 2016 will be the fourth year of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Academy. The Academy has earned the reputation as one of the finest baseball/softball camps in America. There is a family and friends discount available. Whenever two or more participants register at the same time, each will receive a $25 discount. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Players should wear athletic/baseball attire and bring a water bottle. **Note: this is a five-day camp. Wizards, Fairies & Trolls Camp - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 5 to 12 Spread your creative wings in this whimsical camp that celebrates the magic and beauty of our favorite woodland creatures Wizards, Fairies and Trolls. We will use our big imaginations to think small while crafting fairy worlds out of art supplies and objects found in nature, explore the wizardry aspects of art and create trolls. Our camp culminates in a fairy tale celebration where we will paint and create! Age Range: 5 to 12 425-788-5900
Musical Production: The Lion King - The Evergreen School
Two shows on Friday July 29th at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in The Evergreen Theater. Calling actors, singers, and dancers! The Evergreen School Summer Performing Arts Program is putting on a big show and we need your talent! In this two week production, students become members of a small cast, and each day is filled with fun activities that build skills for musical theater. This years show is The Lion King. Every student enrolled receives a copy of the music and the script in advance of rehearsals. Auditions take place on the first day of class. In this production, everyone will be strongly featured with solos for all. On the last day, July 29, in partnership with our Backstage Crew and Costume Crew classes, actors will present two big performances (3:00 pm and 7:00 pm) complete with sets, costumes and lights. Attendance is required for all days of these two weeks and at both shows. This successful summer program has a team of five experienced teaching artists all lead by Evergreens Vanessa Miller.
