This Girls Only Advanced residential soccer camp is held at Mount St. Marys University and conducted by Camp Director, Rob Ryerson. The emphasis of the program is on individual skill development along with team building concepts and increased tactical decision making for all players. You asked and we responded! Our newest addition… Future Physician II brings more great projects, as young campers delve further into their amazing body systems. Theyll peel back the layers and discover how their complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to….. well, you get the idea. Theyll uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. Campers will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. Get Started on Summer Reading 5 - The Prairie School
Have fun reading a required summer reading book in a group setting. With the use of a variety of reading strategies, the course covers the reading of Number the Stars Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book they are assigned before June 20th. Additional reading at home will be required.
