Teens dive deep into French in our summer immersion classes. Every week, students will focus on improving French reading, writing and conversation skills. Grouped according to age and level, our highly trained teachers will lead teens to pick up communication skills while exploring Francophone culture. Open to all levels of Middle and High School French. These camps will help students in transition from Middle to High School, review past materials, get a head start on new material and skip a grade level. Mornings will focus on academics and in the afternoons teens will explore French cultures in Los Angeles with a program designed just for them!

Gametastic Coders - The Derryfield School
Games + coding = fun! Learn the basics of computer programming by creating mini-games using Tynker Visual Programming Language. Week 1: 7.25 to 7.29 - M-F, 8:30am-3:30pm Week 2: 8.01 to 8.05 - M-F, 8:30am-3:30pm repeats Week 1: 8.08 to 8.12 - M-F, 8:30am-3:30pm Week 2: 8.15 to 8.19 - M-F, 8:30am-3:30pm $499/week, course can be taken for one or two weeks; option to take week 1 or week 2, only. Middle - The Prairie School
Designed specifically to meet the needs of middle schoolers, the daily program offers a diverse selection of activities, arts, academics and experiences. Campers explore science, arts and crafts, math, environmental education, computer keyboarding and software, and geocaching each week. The camp offers instruction and supervised play in a variety of sports. In addition, campers will learn the importance of teamwork and charity as they join the other Hawks Haven campers on field trips when appropriate. A typical week may include activities such as enrichment experiences in math and/or geography, arts and science activities, basketball instruction, team sports, and outdoor free play, exploration field trips based on Prairies campus, computers and geocaching. -- Directors: Barbara Hoppa Swanson and Jake Lipor (262)752-2680

Participants in Discovery Camp will engage in sports, art classes, swimming lessons, open swim, movie day and weekly field trips. There will be plenty of fun had by all. Participants provide their own sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, movie concession money. Snacks, swim instruction, open swim, all classes, movie admission and field trips are included. No camp July 4. Payment Plan Terms: A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration. Remaining camp balance must be paid in full by Monday, June 6, 2016 to attend camp. Contact Recreation & Parks Department for more information. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. Enjoy the thrill of kayaking, boogie board the waves at Napatree, get a taste of stand-up paddle boarding, and choose your snorkel spots from a local navigation chart. Take the first exciting step in learning to surf by practicing your stance, balance, paddle technique, and duck dives safely in the Harbor.
