Supervisor: West Shore Scuba. Students will learn how to correctly put on and adjust their equipment, control their breathing and get accustomed to being underwater and using scuba equipment. They will put their new found skills to use while performing Aqua Missions underwater. In addition to their water time, the students will continue their learning out of the pool and discuss marine biology. The only items that you will need to bring with you are a bathing suit, a towel and a release form. This camp is conducted by West Shore Scuba, a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) dive center. Kids will work with our expert staff and experience an array of foods from around the world through hands-on learning. Recommended ages: 4-10. Each class must be registered for separately. Camps - Discovery Camp - Recreation Center at Michelle Obma School of Techn
Participants in Discovery Camp will engage in sports, art classes, swimming lessons, open swim, movie day and weekly field trips. There will be plenty of fun had by all. Participants provide their own sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, movie concession money. Snacks, swim instruction, open swim, all classes, movie admission and field trips are included. No camp July 4. Payment Plan Terms: A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration.
