Has your child or teen ever dreamed of flying — the amazing freedom, the fun, the excitement? Join professional teachers of aerials arts and acrobatics for our exciting camps! Open to kids ages 4-18, (different age groups available) campers are invited to Frequent Flyer's Aerial Dance Studio to learn skills on trapeze, aerial fabric, sling, acrobatics and so much more. Here's what a parent said about her child's experience in camp in early June: "I just wanted to let you know that she has LOVED this camp. It is such a pleasure when I sign my child up for a camp to know that the money was well spent, and that there is no whining about going to camp - she's up and out of bed, lunch packed and ready to go every morning. Join Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center for a day of crafting on the day off from school on November 11th. Kids ages 5-12 will enjoy weaving with natural and recycled materials, and felting with naturally dyed alpaca fleece. Featuring special guest Phylleri Ball of Three Sisters Weaving. Kids will love spending this beautiful Fall day in the mountains of Nederland, outside of Boulder and Denver. July 26-August 1, 2015 (Sunday - Saturday) COST: $245 per camper Registration: Sunday at 3:00pm Come join the fun at Teen Camp as we discover how we can be "Consumed with Christ" in all that we say & do. Teen camp is an action packed week with late night recreation, crazy games and relays, horses, archery, tournaments, relaxing in the pool or playing a game of pool in the air conditioned recreation room while making new friends or hanging out with old ones. Last year this week almost sold out, so register early. Teen Camp is open to students entering grades 7 thru 2015 Graduates. There will be a separate program for Jr. High and High School. The $50 non-refundable deposit is due by July 1, 2015 to secure a place for your child. For Boys and Girls ages 4 – 12. Campers will develop all of their basketball skills - shooting, passing, dribbling, re-bounding and defense. Our Basketball Camp immerses you in the sport, giving you the kind of focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement. Minecraft Adventures - Universalist Unitarian Church - Arlington
Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. At this exciting camp your child will craft and create on a lap top computer. Throughout the week, your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode of MINECRAFT ® BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Renaissance has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. We will focus on several advanced crafting skills such as red-stone wiring, advanced survival tactics and advanced gardening. Campers will participate in a horserace and become paleoentoligists digging for bones to construct a dinosaur. There are new challenges everyday and the excitement builds with each new challenge. Your child will learn to build advanced structures using uncommon building techniques focusing on color schemes roof designs and interior builds. 12 campers so SPACE IS LIMITED! *This camp will also change from week to week so that kids may sign up for more than one camp. 703-244-0585

In this mixed-genre class, students have the chance to combine poetry, fiction and comics to tell epic stories about themselves and their world. They will explore new literary techniques and poetic forms while developing skills in written, oral, and visual storytelling. Students will experience all stages of the writing process—writing, revising, and sharing—ending with a celebration for family and friends.
