Be a Civil War Soldier: Kid’s Camp - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 8-12 years old? Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 16 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is April 8th. To Register or for more information, call the park at 318.872.1474.
Fall Barrel Bash - Stonewall, OK
For pre registration please call Regina at 405-221-7647. There will be exhibitions. The ground crew will be 3 Crosses. There wil be 1/2 split . There is a $5 arena fee for all contestants and there is a youth division. Friday exhibitions will start at 5pm and go for 2 hours. Saturday exhibitions will start at 11 am and go for 3 hours. The race will start at 2pm. There will also be a $20 entry fee for the youth group. $50 entry fee each night with 80% payback. $5 exhibitions or 5 for $20 5D competition $1000 added money each night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will use several mediums including: pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, markers, and ink. This is a great time to learn new art techniques while spending time outdoors and seeing some amazing creatures. We will provide all the supplies as well as a VAI t-shirt for all students.
