Surprise Valley Youth Camp Family Retreat - Beckley, WV
The retreat is for the entire family or, if everyone in the family can't come, those who can are welcome. There will be classes for all ages. We will have activities, speakers, singing, snack bar, campfires and plenty of food. Cost per person: $30 if preregistered $40 if you register at the door $15 for Saturday only Remember, even if mom and dad can't come, the kids still can (ages 7 and up). Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there.

Kid's Day Off Camp - Frederick, MD
Whether it's one day or a whole week, Camp Pump It Up is where it's at! Discover, explore, invent, and imagine! These themed camps are high-energy, fast-paced and just plain fun for kids. Kid's will spend part of the day playing on our gigantic inflatables and party of the day making new friends during interactive play, crafts, and hands-on activities. Camps are usually held on FCPS days off. Check our events calendar for camp dates. One Day 9 am - 4 pm........$45 Half Day 9 am - 1 pm OR 1 pm - 4 pm.......$25

Young Couples/Married/Families Potluck - Pearl, MS
Come join us for a Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner! We thought this would be an awesome opportunity to bring together couples and other young married small groups for a time of fellowship and meeting new faces. Sometimes it is difficult to meet other groups or friends in the same life stage as you in the middle of the hustle and bustle on Sundays and Wednesdays. Act Out Loud! - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
Students will experience the process of creating a play from a simple idea to the performance on stage. They will get to pitch their ideas, help form and shape the storyline, write dialogue, create characters and perform for an audience. This unique class is ideal for any student interested in all the aspects of theatre. INSTRUCTOR JOHN WALDRON received his BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. As an actor, director, and instructor, he has been working in the region for over 20 years. He has directed shows at Aldersgate and MVCCT. John can be seen in the motion picture Talk To Me starring Don Cheadle and was featured on Investigative Discovery show Who The Bleep!. Age 13-16, Session 08 - LMSS - A
Camp provides both first-time and experienced students with a basic understanding of sailing in a recreational, fun environment using the LMSS 420 sailboats, which are perfect for 2-3 sailors. Students will learn the basics of sailing; upwind, downwind, and sailing between two points, along with sail trim, knot tying and terminology. Graduation takes place at the end of each session, parents are encouraged to attend and see their sailors in action. 9524041645.0

Volleyball Camp: Middle School - Piedmont Middle School
This middle school volleyball camp focuses on individual player development and teamwork. attention is given to technique, skill and confidence so each camper improves as a volleyball player and develops a love for the game. All skill levels welcome! Sarah brings an extensive background in indoor and beach volleyball. As a junior in college she played for the Cals Indoor Volleyball team as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Entering her senior year at UC Berkeley, Cole plans to finish her degree in integrative biology and continue her volleyball career as a current member of the Cals Womens Beach Volleyball Team. She is a AAA rated sand volleyball player and has coached for Presentation High School, City Beach Volleyball Club, Cal Summer Camps, and Piedmont Middle School. Participants should wear appropriate clothing, gym shoes, and knee pads; please bring a snack and water. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This camp is intended for students entering 6th - 8th grades. Teen Metalsmithing & Jewelry with Connie Pfeiffer (Ages 12-17) - Young People
Learn basic metalworking techniques to create mini sculpture and jewelry. Saw, hammer, fold, cut, stamp, rivet and solder copper sheet metal and wire. Students will use hand tools and a torch (one-on-one with instructor) to make metal malleable and solder pieces together as needed. Two and three-dimensional forms will be explored, including organic leaves, spheres, circles etc. New projects for returning students. 2035624927 x14
