My son met lots of new friends at this camp
My 10 year old son can’t wait to sign up for this camp again next year. He is an active boy who loves to try new things. He learned how to canoe, hike and shot archery. He also enjoyed played sports with campers who also like physical activity. He still keep in touch with many of his camp friends, and they all plan to sign up for the same week to be reunited again.

Kid's Camp at VT People's Convention - Montpelier, VT
This Spring the Vermont People’s Convention will bring hundreds of people together as a critical step in building a unified movement for healthy communities and a just society. On April 30 & May 1st at Montpelier High School, individuals and organizations working for disability rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, climate justice and labor unions will come together for a weekend to share, learn and take action together. The organizers of the convention are working hard to make this an intergenerational event with a parallel Youth Activism Summit for teens, and a Kid’s Camp for children 12 and under. To make lasting and far reaching change we need the participation of Grandparents, Parents and their Children! The Kid’s Camp at the People’s Convention will not only provide quality childcare, but will be a fun space for kids to learn about and participate in creating a more just and vibrant world. Through stories and activities, kids will have opportunities to learn and think critically about various struggles for human rights and dignity. These Leadership camps will explore child development, communication and mentorship from our excellent Camp Instructors. Participants will learn how to facilitate camp activities such as songs, games, and environmental education activities. CIT participants will learn valuable naturalist skills as well as how Oregon State Natural Areas are maintained by Park Rangers, Friends of Tryon Creek staff and volunteers.
