A performing arts and creative fitness camp encouraging self-expression through visual art, dance, theatre and music. Camp Express was developed to unleash the artistic potential of every camper. 6 - 14 year olds are invited to participate in Yuba Sutter Arts first Kid's Art, Music, Movement and Acting (KAMMA) Camp, July 18th - July 22nd daily from 9am - 3:30pm. Kid's will take part in a well-rounded variety of artistic activities. At the end of the week, on Friday, July 22nd, an art show and performance will be held at 6pm in the Lee Burrows Center For the Arts, Theater. Full and half-day registrations are available. Kids Winter Art Camp: Mixed-Media Masks! - Bellingham, WA
In this winter break art class, we'll imagine that we are in a warm tropical place with palm trees, wild birds singing, and sandy beaches. To inspire our imagination, we’ll learn about the French post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin, the location of Tahiti, and a brief history of Tikis. Tiki masks actually have a long, rich history in Polynesian culture. The Tiki masks were originally hand-carved wooden masks that were used to symbolize deities, give protection, and increase luck. We'll create our own colorful and textured papers with paints with a variety of brushes, and different items to make texture, in mixed-media format, then use the painted papers to create our Tiki masks. Camp:Summer Playground-Caldwell Park 2016 - Concord Parks and Recreation
This camp is for 6-10 year olds. Camp operates June 20 through August 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program is geared to motivate and stimulate the participants willingness to learn through field trips and age appropriate activities and much more! Fee includes most trips and program offerings. Pre-registration is required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration for 2015 RETURNERS will be Wed 1/13/16 thru Midnight 1/17/2016 by ONLINE reg and from 8:00 a.m.-5:00pm by WALK-IN until Friday 1/15/16.
