Pauma Valley Competitive Edge Camp - Pauma Valley Country Club
The PGA Junior Golf Camps Competitive Edge Golfer programs offer serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. Offered at select locations, the Competitive Edge camps are taught by some of the countrys leading and most successful junior golf instructors, many of whom are former top junior golfers themselves. The camps concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels. CAMP DETAILS Fractured Fairy Tales Week In our Fractured Fairytale world, students will learn how to adapt traditional fairytales using unexpected characterization, modified points of view and bizarre plot development. Working as an ensemble well then dramatize our new fractured fairy tale using music and movement. Working alongside one of our professional teaching artists students will also play fun theater games and learn how to develop characters for the stage. This camp aims to cultivate creativity and give participants experience of creating their very own theater piece. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals. Throughout the week we will also work together to create prop, costume and set pieces to use in our culminating original show that highlights our collaborative efforts! 773-944-9146

Are we in Mexico? You would think you were with all the fun Mexican crafts, games, sports and music. Create your own mask, pinata, sombrero, maracas and much more. All in Spanish! Vamos Amigos! Bring your bathing suit each day for water fun! On Wednesday, Campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. There will be a $25 material fee due the first day. Bring a bagged lunch.
