All ages welcome Ages 6 and older can be drop off. You can choose however many days you would like your child to attend. Discount is given when all 3 days are chosen. We will be painting on an 11 x 14 canvas And making one christmas craft. Please make sure to have your child wear play clothes since we will be painting. Charly Cardboard Mini Camp - Gallatin, TN
School is out and Charly Cardboard is coming! This class will give the vision and skills to get students to begin the creative process of using something as simple as leftover cardboard into something artistic and maybe even practical. In two days - 4 hours per day - students will get hands on instruction and come out with a completed project like the one below. Lot's of fun. Visual artist and film maker David Wilson in collaboration with Actors Point Theatre Company will conduct this amazing class. Limited space available. College Prep Camp - Non-Appalachian Region - Transylvania University
Transylvanias College Prep Camp will give campers an opportunity to sample college life while gaining academic knowledge and learning how to improve their scores on standardized tests. Morning and afternoon sessions will explore different academic areas through lectures given by Transylvania faculty and staff members. These will often be the same lectures you might receive as a Transylvania student. Evening sessions will help prepare campers for the ACT and SAT exams. They will receive two evenings of math preparation and two evenings of verbal preparation. During camp, participants live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet services will not be available in the dorm rooms. To be eligible for this camp, campers must have a grade average of at least a B and be recommended by two individuals - one of them a teacher or counselor who verifies your grades and confirms that you are interested in and would benefit from the camps program. In this session of soccer we will work on kicking, passing, trapping and dribbling, as well as covering some of the basic rules.
