Morning: Olympic Robot Games Discover how it feels to Go for the Gold as you and your teammates compete in a handful of sports for this class of Robotic Olympics. Each event/sport will test your robots structural integrity and maneuverability. At the same time, coach your robots with wireless technology while being put to the test. Using gears, pulleys and varying degrees of traction, students will build robotic athletes. We will compete at soccer, kickball, jousting, wrestling, a MYSTERY Sport and a race across the finish line. Sportsmanship and Robotic Competition Rule! Afternoon: Impossible Search & Rescue Teams in this class have accepted the challenge to be the first responder in circumstances of extreme weather, danger, abandonment and quarantine. These victims need: robots that can climb up ropes to rescue Lego Mini Figure victims, rovers that can drive through and over any obstacle, and so much more. We want to know if your robot can save the day. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Beat the heat this summer and enroll your kiddos in our Kid's Camp! Single day or full week registrations available. Ages 7-12. Snacks and all supplies will be provided daily. Your child will also receive an exclusive "Kid's Camp" shirt! Each day, your child will be creating a 16x20 painting, which are displayed on our website. They will be learning about the artist during fun, interactive games and stories. Our campers will be working each day on a self portrait, as well as collaborating on group projects. At the end of the week, we will have an open Art Gallery featuring your child's work! Invite family and friends to join us for snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and a beautiful display of your child's art. Art Gallery Reception will be on Friday from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Sun-Sand-Surf - S1 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
Were going back to the Beach! An entire summer camp inspired by a tropical holiday. Well use sand clay & watercolors to make beach-inspired art, sculpt pottery hermit crabs, create our own shades with colored lenses and make a transparent jellyfish sculpture. Mo the moss ball is back as our camp mascot this year with his own comic book made by YOU. Each student will exhibit a piece in our end of summer Art Show. 734-416-4278
