Kid "Camp." Special volunteer opportunity for 11-16 year olds. - Haver
The summer will be gone before we know it, but we are still galloping full speed ahead which is why Tomten Farm and Sanctuary will be offering a special mentoring program to animal loving kids ages 11-16. This unique program is designed for kids with the desire to learn more about the day-to-day operations of an animal sanctuary and get hands on experience with our rescues. Taught by our long term volunteer and intern, UNH Equine Science major, Aileen W., it’s sure to be chock of personal attention, education, hard work, and more animals than you can count. Join us at the farm 2-3 weekdays from July 10th to the 31st, 10:30-2:30 and help us go above and beyond to maintain happy, healthy animals 365 days a year. As always, safety comes first so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing (closed toed, hard shoes, bug spray and sunscreen) and bring a signed release, a copy parent/guardian license or federal ID (feel free to black out addresses, birth dates, and SS or S numbers) drinks, lunch, and an appetite to contribute and get involved with one of your favorite rescues! Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
At YMCA Camp Carter Overrnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Each cabin is led by a senior counselor with overnight camp experience and each unit is led by an upper class college student studying education, recreation or another appropriate field of study. Campers will spend time with their cabin group, making new friends, exploring the property and participating in all kinds of fun activities like climbing the 60′ climbing wall or hiking to see Old Man Tucker’s truck. Cabin groups will come together as units during the week and participate in camp fires, cookouts and group competitions and games. Everyone in camp will meet for meals, messages and devotions and to sing camp songs at the top of their lungs. YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabins with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

Summer Cooking Camp - Macon, GA
June 27-30 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm each day. Registration Ends on June 22nd. Students will be taught the Healthy Hands Cooking program. Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

The Summer Camp Event 2016 - New York, NY
Come celebrate The Summer Camp with us! Open bar, free food, camp things and The Wooly DJ! TSC sends over 350 underprivileged girls (ages 6-18) from low-income and foster families to camp in Maine each summer. Unlike similar organizations, TSC brings campers back year after year. So the programming— and the community— grow with the campers. TSC also provides a literacy program to make sure that campers are reading at grade level as well as a mentorship program for “graduates." Beginning and Advanced Inline Skating - The Evergreen School
Beginning skaters will be taught the basic foundation of skate moves which includes striding, stopping, and turning. Additional skills taught include the "rules of the road", how to fall properly, and various tricks. To enroll in the advanced camp, children must have previously taken one of Skate Journeys beginning camps. Skate Journeys provides the proper sized SEBA skates for each child plus all the protective gear (except for helmets). Please provide your child with a helmet. No previous skating experience necessary. A parent signed waiver form will be required for your child to participate in this camp. 206-957-1533

MAC Tennis and Swim - Brookwood School
This summer we are happy to partner with the Manchester Athletic Club for an afternoon of tennis and summer fun. Students will be transported from Brookwood to the MAC each afternoon where the camp will feature an on-court tennis experience rain or shine daily. Tennis campers will improve their strokes and playing skills! There will also be time for open swim and other summer adventure. (Note: Students will be picked up at the MAC at 4:00. After camp care can be arranged through the MAC between 4 to 5:30PM if necessary). 978 525 6244

KidzArt MIXED MEDIA - Heritage Elementary
Our students explore the many elements of the visual arts. During the session, students are exposed to a variety of artistic styles, cultural interpretations, and mediums. The elements of brainstorming and more complex forms of problem solving are introduced through interactive format. Students begin to talk enthusiastically about possibilities. They become more confident in their attempts at self expression. Their destination of their own personal style gets closer. 256-830-4741

The campers will paint, build with clay and create a masterpiece on canvas. They will learn about a famous artist and have snacks provided by us. In this campers will have fun with mugs and surprise critters! Skateboarding Camp 3rd-8th grades - Mitchell Park Community Center - City of Palo Alto
Challenge yourself and build self-confidence with a focus on safety, skateboarding fundamentals, conditioning and technique. Each day is structured as skateboarding lessons, education, snack time, game time and play time. Helmets are required and safety pads are strongly recommended. Parents must sign waiver form with registration.
