Camp will meet from 7:00-5:30pm on Monday and Friday; and from Noon-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games, educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36 In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. Youth Softball & Baseball Fundamentals Camp by Josh Newman - South Web
Instructor : Josh Newman currently the Assistant Baseball Coach for Marshall University and formerly with the Colorado Rockies and the KC Royals. This camp is open to all boys and girls, ages 7-12 in all school districts. Josh will be covering the fundamentals of the game for softball and baseball. Advance Registration and payment must be received no later than June 6th to guarantee a spot at camp and a tshirt. *Early Registration is $35 per athlete and must be received by June 1st and includes lunch and a tshirt. *after June 1st Group registration of 10 or more players for $45 per player and $40 for siblings. Each group of 10 will receive the 11th player free. We request that your 11th player be need based. PLT Academy, 2nd Semester - Pensacola Little Theatre
It is time for our 2nd semester of the Academy to begin! ( This is a year long program. Do not register for this class unless you are a current Academy student from fall 2015 ) This semester we focus on creating a production from beginning to end ( including set design, production coordination, marketing. outreach, etc. ) This course will also give the acting students a chance to channel some of the acting skills they learned into their character in the show. ***We will be performing one acts titled : " The Waiting Room" and " The Other Room" These performances will be open to the public. Please remember our tech week will be May 31st-June 2nd, from 2pm until 9pm each day Eveyone must attend each day of Tech rehearsal. Tennis and So Much More - Wheaton Indoor Tennis
Schools out, and its time to play! During the tennis portion of camp, kids with little or no tennis experience will play with the smaller rackets and softer balls of our "10 and Under Tennis" classes which will help them connect with the ball. They will really enjoy themselves while they learn the basic strokes and rules of tennis. Well also do some fun tennis drills and games that will teach moves and skills to use on the court. Older and more experienced players will be placed together to assure they are getting a good challenge with their friends and peers. When were not playing tennis, well take a hike on one of the great trails in Wheaton Regional Park, visit Brookside Nature Center and explore nature, and cool off at the South Germantown Splash Playground on Tuesdays. Twelve Dancing Princesses - Twin City Stage
There once was a king who had 12 dancing princess daughters. Each night he would lock their door so they could not escape, but every morning, the twelve would have the soles of their slippers worn out from dancing. hmmmmmm....
