Minecraft is a block-building sandbox game with no set rules, where you can build anything you can possible imagine. Lets pretend youre alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Campers learn how to work as a team as they take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. There are two modes of the game. Adventure Amputee Camp is very excited to be holding the second annual ski and snowboard winter camp! We will host campers at Wintergreen Resort located in Wintergreen, VA (near Richmond and Charlottesville, Va) with Wintergreen Adapted Sports. Apply now to participate in skiing/snowboarding, tubing, swimming, ice skating and more! Camp will be held January 23-26, 2016. Please note that AAC will NOT be providing transportation to and from Wintergreen Resort. It is the responsibility of each family represented to make transportation arrangements. Each Winter Open Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill.
